The new shooting star of German language Pop-Rock, Austrian Marco Wanda, has gotten flak for using the word baby in the title track of Wanda’s new album “Bussi Baby”. Some find this sexist. So I put together a playlist of iconic (some seminal) pop songs with the word baby in them. The show includes classic tunes from Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Tracy Chapman, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others – and of course, some great Doo-Wop & Motown sounds as well.
