Unsafe+Sounds is a festival for experimental music and art currently taking place in various venues around Vienna. Now in its fourth year, the festival brings international talent to the city from the fringes of techno, classical music, noise, and dance. For this Radio Orange Special, Tristan Bath (The Wire / The Quietus) meets Unsafe+Sounds curator Shilla Strelka, plus two artists from the 2017 roster, native Austrian producers In My Talons and Fingers Of God, to talk about the festival and what it’s like making music from the edge.
