The second episode with interviews from Waves Vienna featuring KIDS N CATS and Nabihah Iqbal. We have two interviews as well as music from the mentioned artists. A common theme in both interviews are questions of cultural identity, exchange and appropriation.

KIDS N CATS is a colourful pop band from vienna. For their album „11 Tracks“, they travelled and collaborated a lot internationally. I asked them about those collaboration processes. We also talked about their video-collaborations with Dalia Spiegel.

Nabihah Iqbal is a DJ, producer and musician based in london. My friend Chris talked with her about Nabihah Iqbal’s versatile and interdisciplinary approach as an artist, the first album „Weighing of the Heart“, and what it means to educate and learn about different music cultures.
