Today we will hear a segment by Luca:

“Death of a Salesman” is set in the early 1940s the story revolves around an aging salesman, struggling with money, the pressure put upon him by society and the American Dream.

His story is told through flashbacks, old memories and the present, revealing his complex relationships with his wife Linda and his kids Biff and Happy.

He is unable to accept the reality of his life and career failures, living in denial, clinging to illusions of success, all of which he has to face in the climax of the story.

The Pennylessplayers bring this classic piece of American stage play back to life.

I had the chance to interview the Pennylessplayers about their new play. Join me as we discuss the tragic story of the Loman’s and the various underlying messages of this play.
