VENUSfrequency — living yoga in rhythm and flow, on this early November morning,
when the world exhales in long, golden sighs.
when the world exhales in long, golden sighs.
The air has changed — have you felt it?
The scent of leaves returning to earth,
the hush that settles over the fields after the harvest,
the slow dimming of the days as the sun takes a gentler arc across our sky.

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, autumn has entered its quiet phase —
the colours now more copper than fire,
the winds carrying both the memory of summer
and the promise of stillness to come.

and the promise of stillness to come.
This is the threshold time,
the in-between — not yet winter, no longer summer.
It’s the pause between breaths,
a season that invites us to turn inward,
to reflect, to release, to gather the scattered rays of our own inner sun.

In yoga, we might call this pratyāhāra —
the turning of the senses inward,
not as withdrawal, but as listening —
to the deeper rhythm beneath the noise of doing.

And perhaps, as the Bhagavad Gītā reminds us,
in this slowing, we find clarity.
For Krishna tells Arjuna:
in this slowing, we find clarity.
For Krishna tells Arjuna:
“Be steadfast in yoga, O Arjuna — perform your duty without attachment,
being even-minded in success and failure.
This equanimity is yoga.” (Bhagavad Gītā 2.48)
