Discussing breaking news live? Having a close call on the technical side of things again? Knowing how Dave prepares his stomach for Christmas? Ending the show with a cliff-hanger? Well, we covered them all in this episode – What a way to end our broadcasting year of 2025!

We kicked off with Antoine Semenyo’s potential exit in January. As the show went on, we kept getting new information (more like Dave scrolling on his phone) on where his preferred destination is. One club being mentioned was Liverpool and the conversation flowed naturally to Alexander Isak’s injury, and whether it is a big blow to Liverpool’s title defence. Whilst we were on the subject of Liverpool, we could not avoid THAT interview by Mo Salah.

Villa’s recent form caught our eyes and we took a deep dive into the why and how of Unai Emery’s achievement so far compared to his time at Arsenal. Should Morgan Rogers be starting for England in the upcoming World Cup? If not, who then?

We also quickly touched on Amorim putting his stubbornness/ego aside for the past two games by changing his formation. However, with Bruno Fernandes injured and key players away on AFCON, would Manchester United sink or swim in the next months? Will players even want to join the club in January?

Want to know how these discussions ended, and what the cliff-hanger is, go click our link in bio! We wish a Merry Christmas and are already looking forward to „seeing“ you in 2026! Happy holidays dear listeners!

Hosted by Ricky Wong, Ben Grounds and Dave Naylor
