Gozo is a small Maltese Island that I discovered in February 2025 and revisted in December and I will keep returning to in the future. This mix is based on fieldrecordings I did on Gozo and on songs from my mobile audio collection that resonated especially with me while I was there.

Gozo, in Maltese language Għawdex, known in antiquity as Gaulos, is an island in the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. The name of the island in Maltese descended from Arabic and from a Phoenician root. The English name derives from Aragonese after they conquered Gozo in 1282. The word Gozo means „joy“ in Castilian Spanish. So enjoy!
