Vermont in spring doesn’t get much attention. While visitors wait for the Fall to come visit Vermont to see its famous Indian Summer, Spring quietly does its own thing up there in New England.
Right now, maple sap is running. Haflinger horses are trudging back and forth through the half-frozen mud, hauling buckets full of delicious sap from the trees. Sugar houses are smoking, neighbors are gathered, and somewhere in there, maple syrup is slowly boiling down.
Outside, the trails are a mess, puddles of water, slick rocks, soggy everything.
Tune in, we’re playing an eclectic mix of spring themed music!
