An artistic research project exploring the intertwining of textile and colonial history:
Western Austria is renowned for the production of high-quality embroidered and damask fabrics. After the textile industry largely collapsed across much of Europe in the mid-20th century, Western Austria found a new, flourishing market in West Africa, particularly Nigeria, where embroidery adorned the era of oil and independence.

Martha Reeves & The Vandellas – Dancing In The Street
I apologize for my mistake to think that the original of this song was the version by David Bowie and Mick Jagger. When in fact Martha Reeves & The Vandellas were the ones that were the first ones to performe this song and make it famous in 1964. Unfortunatley I am not the only one making mistakes like that and so undermining and rewriting the importance of music history of Black musicians.
Also apologies that the sound quality is not the finest. we will do better.
