This is a rebroadcast of Disquiet listening: Tunis, a radio art community project run by Eugenia Seriakov that contained a series of live broadcasts. Tune into the diversity of radio art as a medium for grassroots community expression in the Middle East:
Disquiet Listening: TUNIS
What happens if you transfer the intimate moment of an event – happening right here and now – into another room somewhere else?
Disquiet Listening Tunis is a portrait of the city and its independent art scene featuring the communities around Mouhit Space and Dar Meso Art Residency. We connect elements of live broadcasting, submitted tracks from international radio fellows, radio art, interviews, and the ordinary of everyday life. At the heart of the show are live concerts, featuring local musicians in ad-hoc duos, with no predetermined setlists or compositions, conversations with the guest and the audience. We open a space for experimentation and co-create new sonic landscapes.
