today, we begin CHAPTER EIGHT — Recovering a Sense of Strength.
Our yogic lens is Tapas — that inner fire, that steady effort, that devotion to practice.
And I think this prayer has already given us a beautiful definition of Tapas:
A strong body. A tender heart. A living connection to the Divine.
And the willingness to keep showing up. So, welcome to a new chapter. May we remember the strength that is already here.

And there is another reason this particular beginning feels so meaningful. During my own studies and immersions in The Mythic Body with Josh Schrei, I came across a dear friend and fellow explorer.
Someone who has been following her own thread of inquiry into the extraordinary life, work and legacy of Hildegard von Bingen.
Because as I was preparing for our conversation today, I kept thinking about all these qualities we might associate with Hildegard: A woman of vision. A mystic. A composer. A healer. A scholar. A woman deeply connected to the natural world.
Someone who brought together spirituality and embodiment, music and medicine, creativity and devotion.
