* Jazzfestival Saalfelden is the most important Austrian Jazz festival created in 1978 in a gorgeous place surrounded by mighty alpine mountains, forests and lakes. In 2026 the Jazzfestival Saalfelden 46, curated by its artistic director Mario Steidl, had around 29 thousand attendances across 56 concerts (more of half of them free) performed by 175 artists from 26 countries, where Local and international jazz and music lovers from all ages, enjoyed 4 amazing days of music presented on diverse locations ( Main stage Congress Saalfelden, Kunsthaus Nexus, the Otto Gruberhalle, Stadtpark, Ritzensee , a beautiful forest called Kollingwald, the Museum Scloss Ritzenthe, the tower of Saalfelden Kirchturm and stages on Salfelden’s mountains).
