Someone has to pay the rent, bills, and taxes, what if we don’t have money for that, especially as freelance artists? Where do we find strength, motivation, and the desire to change?

Tayla Myree (she/they) is a visual artist and historian based in Vienna, Austria. Their work deals with memory, anti-blackness, colonialism, and queerness through the mediums of film, writing, and sound. Tayla currently holds a Master’s Degree in Comparative History from Central European University and is currently studying Video and Video Installation at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
