The end is near — but the end is also an open field.
When we face an existential crisis, when life suddenly shows us its fragility, something in us breaks — or perhaps, opens.
You can’t really fix what’s been broken; it remains cracked, changed.
But you can carry those pieces with you, weave them back into meaning, and let them grow into something new.

Guest: Sara Ostertag, director and dramaturg

Sara Ostertag (Vienna, 1985) is a director and dramaturg whose works traverse theatre, dance, and installation. As co-founder of makemake produktionen, she explores collective creation and new performative spaces that connect art and community. She collaborates continuously with Florentina Holzinger as a dramaturg, contributing to internationally acclaimed performances. Her work has been presented at theatres and festivals across Austria and throughout Europe. Since 2025, she has been Artistic Director of TEATA in der Gumpendorfer Straße, shaping a theatre of encounter, experimentation, and shared imagination.
