One of the highlights of contemporary music life in Graz is the impuls festival and academy. In this special episode, we are giving you a sneek peek into this year’s edition of impuls 2025 and present music by students of the academy, as well as recordings of performances by impuls‘ participating artists. A lot of exciting new music for curious ears! This first episode of a mini-series of four features young performers who are part of the impuls academy and festival. We will hear some brand-new compositions as well as music by 20th-century composers, with some pieces combining techniques of remix, composition and improvisation. Close your eyes, open your ears and discover the amazing diversity that contemporary music has to offer today!
