Two anniversaries and a retrospective: Furrer 70 / Nono 100

The third episode in our series features music by young international composers from the impuls academy 2025 in Graz. While contemporary music has emerged from the tradition of Western classical music, we will hear that composers today are drawing from a lot of different styles, traditions, bringing in musical elements from different cultures and working across many artistic formats. From large-scale orchestral soundscapes to fragile chamber music, ambient textures and complex percussive rhythms, there is something to discover for every musical taste. Tune in and enjoy!
