Santi Gil (Santipatic) stammt aus Vigo (Galicien, Spanien) und entdeckte während seines Studiums in Ourense seine wahre Leidenschaft: das DJing. Was als Nebenjob begann, wurde schnell zu seiner Welt — ob Metal, Hip-Hop, Techno, kommerzielle Beats oder überraschende Klassik-Mixe.

Über Jahre prägte er die spanische Clubszene als Resident-DJ und machte sich einen Namen als genreübergreifender Klangmischer. Nach einer Pause für Familie und Beruf kehrt er nun zurück an die Decks – befreit von Druck, getrieben allein von purer Liebe zur Musik.

Heute präsentiert er auch bei Radio Helsinki im Programm IndiePop seine eigene Vision von Ethnic Electronica – inspiriert, experimentell, unverwechselbar.

Santi Gil (Santipatic) from Vigo, Galicia, discovered his true passion while studying in Ourense: DJing. What began as a side gig quickly became his world — mixing everything from metal and hip-hop to techno, commercial beats, and even classical twists.

As a resident DJ, he built a reputation in the Spanish club scene as a fearless, genre-crossing sound shaper. After stepping back to focus on family and career, he’s now back behind the decks — free of pressure, driven purely by love for music.

Today, he also shares his vision of Ethnic Electronica on Radio Helsinki’s IndiePop — inspired, experimental, and unmistakably his own.
