Tonight, we talked about money – not as a taboo, but as a tool.

In Austria, women still earn less than men, face greater financial insecurity, and have less access to financial knowledge and economic power. Money affects all of our lives – yet women are systematically excluded from it, while doing more unpaid and invisible work just to get by.

This is not a coincidence.
It’s a system.

That’s why Prospera exists.

My guests tonight were Karolina Herbut, financial educator and founder of Prospera, and Romana Wochl, engineer, Vice President of Prospera, and business analyst in the Austrian banking sector. Together, they work to make financial literacy accessible, inclusive, and empowering – especially for women and girls.

Support their work. Share the knowledge. Talk about money.
Because financial independence is power.

Prospera – Association for the Promotion of Financial Literacy and Economic Empowerment of Women, based in Vienna, Austria, was founded with the aim of improving financial and economic literacy, strengthening entrepreneurial skills, and promoting careers in STEM fields and entrepreneurship among women and girls. Prospera also works to promote responsible money management, financial and economic independence, wellbeing, and long-term security, contributing to greater equality between women and men.Prospera empowers women, girls, and people identifying as women from diverse backgrounds, with a special focus on the LGBTQ+ community and people with migrant backgrounds. www.theprospera.org, Instagram: @theprospera_org
