Abril, Biel and Gerard have been friends for a long time. But they’ve seperated from each other. During a hiking vacation in the Pyrenees they try to get closer again and face severeal difficulties doing so. „Dies d’estiu i de pluja“ („Rainy Summer Days“) tells about friendship, the continuous rearranging within relationships and the challenges and crises of growing-up. The movie is a collaboration of the members of the Spain-based Espurnes Collective. Clàudia Vila, Àlex Serra and Eva Picazo are members of the collective. David Winkler-Ebner has visited them and talked with them about the making process of the movie, embarrassing kissing in public spaces and nocturnal fox visits.
