The Bangladesh Feminist Archive doesn’t want to leave the feminist history in Bangladesh to oblivion. Woman on Air Andreea Zelinka talks to founder Tanveer Anoy about the beginnings of Bangladesh Feminist Archive, why they collect material in the present, how memory is being actively created through archiving, and why being passionate about archiving is important for feminist history in Bangladesh. To illustrate their work and approach to archiving and making feminist memory, Anoy has also brought three items from the archive with them which give a deep and diverse insight about different aspects of feminist movement history in Bangladesh.
