impulsradio #4 - celebrating Womens' Day: an hour of young female composers

This episode was the first live-show of Radio Schallfeld: Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka and Davide Gagliardi meet in the studio to talk on air about sounds in space and sound and space – how music and space are linked in our hearing, what psychoacoustics matter for music, how composers think and create space out of sound and work with the acoustics of a room, how we imagine and shape space in performance or in listening. We listen to feedback loops, clicks and cuts, microphones as instruments, and we hear an AI system interacting with musicians.

With music by: Agostino Di Scipio, Davide Gagliardi, Artemi Maria Gioti and Maryanne Amacher
