It may be “old” news but because the whole point deduction fiasco with Everton, it is still very much relevant for our show. Of course, one cannot forget Manchester City as they are also facing 115 charges! So not only did we have Ben as a loyal Evertonian to discussion all of this, we also welcomed Johnny back to the show to have him share with us his view on this situation.

After spending over one-third of the show talking this, we picked Johnny’s brain on Man City’s recent performance. Sometimes newspapers report certain things to invite people to click into the article, and the titles suggesting Trent Alexander-Arnold could face charges for celebrating after scoring for Liverpool this weekend, and now no longer face any, led us to a few off-topic discussions, namely favourite football boots and goal celebrations.

With goal celebrations, we talked abut what could be the winner of this year’s Pukas award, and goal of the season. Yes, it is Alejandro Garnacho’s overhead kick against Everton.
