Unsere EU-Freiwillige Gemma Plans Garcia war für uns bei einer Podiumsdiskussion über „die Rolle der Medien in der Erklärung der Krise“ innerhalb der European Youth Media Days, die von 16. – 18. Oktober in Brüssel stattgefunden haben. Die europäische Wirtschaftskrise war dieses Jahr das Hauptthema bei den EYMD. „Divided we stand?“

The economic crisis currently threating Europe presented by the point of view of young journalists. That is the main theme of this years’ European Youth Media Days, an event hosted by the European Parliament and organised in collaboration with the European Youth Press.

A total of 120 young journalists from the European Union and the Balkan have gathered to participate in political discussions and debates from media experts with the intention to produce in teams some media pieces related with the eurocrisis.

Our EU-Volunteer Gemma Plans Garcia has collected for us some of the inputs and outcomes of this three day workshop for young journalists.
