Children and Young people are the best Audience, honest and ready to share reactions. They still recognize how you address them, and share your energy. The most important thing for someone who is a perforator is to be open, love what they do, and most of all love their audience. The language of dance and the body is the language of freedom, to communicate even when we think it’s impossible.

Sanja Tropp Frühwald graduated at SEAD Salzburg in 2007. Since then, as an artistic director of VRUM performing arts collective (Zagreb / Vienna), she has made over 20 own productions.

Most of the works are presented both in Croatia, and Austria and are touring internationally. For her artistic work she got nominated and awarded many times (Croatian National Theatre Award (2012, 2016), Stella award Austria (2022), Assitej Croatia (2022, 2023) etc).

Sanja’s artistic work is marked by a true interest in intergenerational collaboration, making impact on broader communities and is recognized as innovative, interactive, inclusive and politically aware. Through the years she has articulated her work in the field of performing arts for young audiences as well as in opening dialogues between different social groups with an accent on non-violent communication and opening new perspectives.
