No More Violence Against Women – The Podcast of the WAVE Network

In this podcast, WAVE voices are amplified to shed light on the many forms and dimensions of violence against women and girls, the importance of prevention, key legislation such as the Istanbul Convention, and national developments across Europe. Through the expertise, efforts, and experiences of women’s specialist service providers, women’s human rights defenders and feminist activists, we explore challenges, progress, and the urgent need for action.

Against the backdrop of Beijing+30, we mark the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, a global blueprint for advancing gender equality. As we welcome the fourth generation of WAVE Youth Ambassadors, this episode connects past victories with present activism. It explores how hard-won feminist achievements continue to shape today’s struggles, while highlighting the crucial and ongoing role of women’s specialist services. Our young ambassadors discuss how they plan to carry this work forward, ensuring that the next generation of feminists continues to support the pursuit of a world free from violence against women.
