"If we have peace on that side of the world, we can have peace around the world"

In this extra episode of VC Mytilene, an interview with Elefteria who lives and works on Crete. She is the founder of a small organization that provides information and items to migrants. The Island has been a lot in the news recently with regards to the many migrants arriving there in recent months, leading the government of Greece to pass a controversial temporary ban on processing asylum requests from people arriving from Northern Africa by sea. But how do the people living on Crete experience this situation? Does this ban have effect? Can anything be done to assist? These and other questions and observations are discussed in this interview.
