In this episode of VC Mytilene, and interview with Mehtap, who works for Mülteci–der. Mülteci-der is a legal aid organization active in Izmir, Turkey, where they do incredible work as one of the only organizations in Izmir that provides this kind of accessible and open support for migrants who are in need of legal support, not only from Izmir but from all over the country. I spoke to Mehtap in their offices at length about the organization itself, the difficulties they encounter and the current situation for migrants in Izmir.
