A scandal at That Evening Football Show? All evidence seems to suggest Ben is guilty of taking all the credit, when advertising the show in our old school magazine, without mentioning Dave and Ricky! And he called them «others»!? Was it really him who did it, or a staffer? The mystery remains! But we will let him off since he is our star player, and we do love his contribution! (An email will no doubt be sent to the editorial team for an update to the text though!)

Everton and Manchester United went head-to-head the evening before this episode, which was an obvious topic to begin with. Ben was in the Hill Dickinson Stadium watching a very dull game that was decided by one glimpse of brilliance from the Red Devils, which Ricky agrees.

It is no longer a surprise to mention Spurs in the relegation talk, since they really are not performing as well as they should. Are they too big for their shoes as Dave said? We then discussed teams that may also get relegated alongside them before moving onto the top of the table, talking about Arsenal’s possibility of bottling their chance of winning the league.

Manchester City do have the experience in title races, and it looks very likely to be a two-horse race. But what about Villa? They are lingering in third and Ben gave his thoughts on whether they will be able to hold onto that precious Champions League spot come end of the season.

Hosted by Ben Grounds and «others», i.e. Ricky Wong and Dave Naylor
